The new zoning code for Denver is about to be foisted upon us. A provision of the code will allow for Additional Dwelling Units (ADU’s), often referred to as “granny flats,” in urban districts. There are some requirements for the appropriate designation of neighborhoods under discussion.

If you are in favor, or against the idea, if you have an opinion, you should investigate what is going on in the neighborhood discussions.

I attended one in College View at which Community Planning and Development presented their case and I found them to be very accessible and solicitous.

It is not all doom and gloom.

Speak up.
